HELP USING THE STORYBANK
The StoryBank consists of digital stories from patients and staff covering many topics on cancer genetics*.
How do I view the stories?
The StoryBank is split into sections covering the main topics a person may have to think about as they journey through the Cancer Genetics Service for Wales. To watch the stories for a particular topic, click on the topic link in the left-hand column and the stories will be displayed on the right. As a guide, patient stories are housed within a grey frame and staff stories are framed purple. By clicking on the title of the story, either through the links in the left-hand column, or in the main body of the page a media-player will appear, allowing you to view the story you've chosen. The Storytellers section lists all the storytellers, both patients and staff. You can watch all the stories from each storyteller in this section.
Getting the stories to play
If the stories are playing within your browser, your computer has the right software installed. If they aren't, you need to ensure you have the latest free Flash Player installed. Flash Player is an additional piece of software for your browser which will enable you to watch the stories on this website.
